Lissea was born on the Cornish coast, shaped by our childhood of long summer days in the sea and quiet winter walks along the sands and surrounding coast paths. This deep-rooted connection to the ocean continues to inspire everything we create.

And after spending several summers working on the beach, we witnessed first-hand the impact of disposable culture- plastic left behind, and low-quality beach products discarded after minimal use. It became clear that there was space for more long-lasting alternatives.

At the heart of Lissea are two guiding principles: to tread more lightly on our coasts and to create pieces that make women feel confident, comfortable, and quietly empowered.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact wherever possible, with every detail considered. Our springsuits are crafted using Limestone neoprene, which is a premium alternative to traditional oil-based neoprene, known for its lower environmental footprint and superior performance. Our towels are made from 80% recycled materials, and our reusable stainless steel water bottles are designed to help reduce single-use plastic along our coastlines.
